Role overview
Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Penzance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers. The role is based on hourly pay of £13.71.
What the job involves
As a home delivery driver, you will represent Iceland at the customer’s door by delivering shopping safely, accurately, and on time. The role combines driving, customer interaction, and practical work both on the road and occasionally in store.
Main duties
- Load the van safely, including handling heavier items correctly and following manual handling procedures.
- Drive responsibly and follow all safe driving practices.
- Carry out van checks before and during use.
- Make sure customer orders reach them in good condition.
- Deliver friendly, helpful customer service at every drop-off.
- Support the store team when extra help is needed.
- Work on your own initiative and organise your time effectively.
- Be available for shifts that may fall anywhere between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

- A full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years and has no more than 6 penalty points.
- A positive, approachable attitude and genuine commitment to a good customer experience.
