Role overview
This role sits within Google's Large Customer Sales organization and focuses on helping app-led businesses scale through advertising and growth strategies. The position calls for a strong sales mindset, deep familiarity with digital media, and the ability to turn customer goals into practical solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
In this role, you will work with major brands and app-first companies, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of advertising solutions in an AI-driven environment. You will collaborate across teams to shape customer strategies, influence product feedback, and support the growth of Google's advertising business.
Location
Preferred working locations can be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India or Gurugram, Haryana, India.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative selling, digital media sales, business development, online media, or digital marketing.
Preferred qualifications
- A master's degree in a business-related discipline.
- 3 years of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, along with customer or agency relationships.
- Background in the mobile app industry and sales.
- Experience working directly with clients and building trust with executive-level stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Google app solutions and related expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with app-first companies to support their business growth objectives.
- Consistently achieve assigned sales targets and maintain a healthy pipeline for long-term success.
- Spot opportunities within your portfolio, prioritize accounts, handle objections, and assess campaign performance.
- Work closely with mobile-focused cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities and create tailored pitches, strategies, and sales recommendations for app developer clients.
- Identify growth opportunities across Google's marketing products, including app campaigns, Google Search, the Google Display Network, and YouTube, while sharing ideas and feedback with the App Campaign Products team.
