About the role
Sculpted by Aimee, an Irish-born beauty brand founded in 2016 by makeup artist and entrepreneur Aimee Connolly, is expanding its creative team and hiring a full-time Graphic Designer in West Sussex. The business was created to fill a market gap for beauty products that are high-performing, straightforward to use, and designed to support busy modern routines. Its approach centres on multitasking products, natural-looking results, and beauty that works for people at every age and stage.
The brand has grown rapidly in under eight years, becoming the leading mass cosmetics brand in Boots Ireland and building a strong presence across retail, e-commerce, and flagship stores. Its range includes more than 140 makeup, skincare, and body products, with skincare emerging as the fastest-growing category. The company also places strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and inclusive representation.
This position sits within the creative team and will report to the Lead Designer. The role is hybrid and has a strong focus on print, packaging, in-store merchandising, and wider brand assets across both physical and digital touchpoints.
What you will do
- Create premium visual assets for multiple channels, with particular emphasis on merchandising, packaging, print collateral, retail POS, VM toolkits, web, digital, OOH, and social media.
- Shape the visual direction for store environments by developing window concepts, signage, fixtures, and merchandising systems that showcase products and strengthen brand impact.
- Turn brand strategy into clear and compelling retail and marketing visuals that remain consistent across ecommerce, campaigns, and in-store experiences.
- Work closely with retail, marketing, ecommerce, and product teams to keep launches, campaigns, and seasonal themes aligned across all channels.
- Manage the delivery of physical brand materials and coordinate with external suppliers to maintain quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Support campaign rollouts and day-to-day activity across OOH, events, press, CRM, web, and digital advertising.
- Maintain and develop brand guidelines while continuing to explore fresh creative ideas that strengthen brand desirability and relevance.
- Keep up with trends in visual merchandising, retail design, and the beauty market to bring new ideas to product presentation and customer experience.
- Promote sustainable approaches to design and production by considering materials, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing.
- Contribute to an ethical, inclusive, and community-minded workplace culture, both internally and externally.
- Apply integrity, transparency, and accountability in all creative output and collaboration.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone with at least 5 years of experience in a design role, ideally gained in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors. You should have a degree in Graphic Design or a related subject, or equivalent hands-on experience, along with a portfolio that demonstrates strength in print, packaging, web, and retail/visual merchandising work.
The right candidate will be highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. A solid understanding of print production, finishes, and artwork setup is essential. You should be organised, self-driven, comfortable juggling several projects at once, and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Strong typography, layout, and brand identity skills are important, as are excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
