Front Office Host (Driver) - Receptionist

Role Overview

As a Front Office Host (Driver), you will be part of a hospitality team focused on creating smooth guest arrivals and departures while also providing dependable shuttle transport. The role combines front desk service with guest transportation, helping deliver a welcoming and memorable stay at the hotel.

Key Duties

• Welcome guests on arrival, complete check-in steps, confirm booking details, allocate rooms, issue keys, and assist with welcome information or bell service support.
• Handle guest departures by checking charges, processing payments, issuing receipts, and working accurately with the point-of-sale system.
• Share detailed knowledge of the hotel, including facilities, room categories, pricing, promotions, and nearby area information to support guest queries.
• Encourage additional sales by suggesting hotel amenities and services that can improve guest experience and generate revenue.
• Respond quickly and professionally to guest needs, address concerns with care, and manage messages and communication effectively.
• Transport guests safely, reliably, and on time using the shuttle vehicle.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and flag any maintenance needs.
• Maintain the vehicle so it stays clean, fuelled, and fit for road use.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or delays without unnecessary delay.

Qualifications and Requirements

Additional Requirements

• A valid driver's licence together with a PRDP is required.
• A background or qualification in Hospitality and/or Tourism is needed.
• Previous experience in a hotel environment will be considered an advantage.
