Freelance AI Trainer

About the Role

NurimTech AI Labs in Pune is hiring a freelance AI trainer to lead live, in-person weekend learning sessions for its inaugural cohort. The work is centered around practical AI product development, agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and project-based learning for IT professionals, fresh engineering graduates, and students. This role also includes occasional corporate workshop delivery for business clients across Pune.

Work Location and Schedule

This position is open only to candidates based in Pune.

• Primary venue: Undri, Pune
• Additional delivery locations may include Hinjewadi, Kharadi, Baner, and other co-working spaces across Pune, depending on batch size and audience
• Engagement type: Freelance / Part-time
• Schedule: Weekends only, with one 3-hour session on Saturday and one 3-hour session on Sunday
• Preferred timing: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with flexibility expected
• Joining: Immediate

About the Company

NurimTech AI Labs is the hands-on AI engineering and product development arm of Nurim Technologies Private Limited, a Pune-based AI startup. The broader NurimTech.ai organization focuses on AI and cloud transformation advisory and works with major technology partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, and Anthropic. The Labs team is building applied learning programs around GenAI, agentic AI engineering, RAG pipelines, and capstone projects.

What You Will Do

• Conduct weekend classroom sessions in person at Undri or other Pune locations as required.
• Design curriculum, lesson plans, lab activities, assignments, and project briefs for both consumer batches and business workshops.
• Develop practical learning material on GenAI basics, prompt engineering, LangChain, RAG pipeline design, vector databases, agentic AI frameworks, LangGraph, and capstone guidance.
• Deliver corporate AI workshops for enterprise teams at client sites or co-working spaces across Pune on mutually agreed weekdays or weekends.
• Adjust content and teaching style for mixed groups such as recent graduates, IT professionals, and corporate employees.
• Distribute class material, recordings, and assignments through Google Classroom or Notion after each session.
• Share learner progress updates with the coordinator or management after every class.
• Represent NurimTech.ai at technical B2B events when required and approved.
• Support short remote mentoring sessions for enrolled candidates over weekends or weekdays, based on trainer availability and business needs.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in AI, machine learning, or software engineering.
• Comfortable working knowledge of at least three areas from LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architecture, ChromaDB or Pinecone, OpenAI API, Claude API, CrewAI or AutoGen, and prompt engineering.
• Prior teaching or training exposure is preferred, though strong industry experience can make up for it.
• Good command of English and Hindi; Marathi will be considered an advantage.
• Must have a personal laptop with a ready development setup.
• Must be based in Pune and willing to travel within the city for delivery.
• Open to feedback from trainees, stakeholders, and management, and able to update delivery and content based on market needs.
• Expected to follow internal company policies and NDA requirements.

Preferred Background

• Experience conducting enterprise AI training.
• Exposure to Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Databricks.
• AI or cloud certifications will be a plus.
• One trainer will be assigned to one batch and is expected to own that batch through to completion within timelines.

Compensation

• Per-session pay: INR 2,000 to INR 3,000 for each 3-hour classroom session.
• Corporate workshop pay: INR 5,000 to INR 8,000 for each half-day workshop.
• Rates are negotiable for exceptional profiles.
• Final payment will be settled monthly after successful session delivery.

Selection Process

Candidates shortlisted for the role will be asked to complete a 20-minute demo teaching session at the Undri office before the final decision is made.

The role is intended for Pune-based trainers who can work flexibly across the city, maintain professional coordination with the internal team, and keep learning content aligned with industry expectations and evolving AI tools.
