Role Overview
Mehad is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial analysis, investment feasibility work, accounting operations, reporting, and compliance for its real estate investment activities in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Key Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis and real estate investment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing an accounting team.
- Strong background in feasibility studies and financial valuation.
- Advanced understanding of ROI, IRR, and other financial performance indicators.
- Experience handling real estate investment funds.
- Proficiency with advanced financial and accounting software.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting.
Primary Responsibilities
The role covers feasibility analysis, accounting leadership, financial operations, reporting, compliance, systems oversight, and financial planning.
- Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies for new projects and opportunities.
- Evaluate best-case, base-case, and worst-case financial scenarios.
- Assess financial risks and produce investment recommendations.
- Measure key indicators such as IRR, NPV, and ROI with accuracy.
- Manage investment funds and portfolios, including financing sources.
- Lead the accounting team by assigning duties, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
- Review team performance regularly, resolve conflicts, and support staff development.
- Train the team on updated accounting standards, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure the accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting records.
- Oversee receivables, payables, customer and supplier accounts, collections, payments, cash, and bank balances.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, trial balance, profit and loss statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Maintain compliance with accounting and legal requirements, including IFRS and tax filings.
- Review invoice issuance, documentation, receipts, and archiving practices.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends, then provide reports to senior management.
- Handle accounting systems such as SAP and Odoo, improve processes, and support team members technically.
- Prepare monthly and annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost planning.
