Role overview

A fintech SaaS company that supports the alternative investment sector is hiring two contract eLearning Developers to create product training for its software platforms. This is a build-focused assignment in a development-stage environment: subject matter experts have already been interviewed, the content has largely been curated, and the work is ready to be turned into polished, learner-friendly courses.

The assignment starts as a proof of concept and could expand for the right developer. The ideal person will be able to move quickly, work to a consistently high standard, and translate approved source material into effective training experiences.

Key work

Author software training in Articulate Rise and Storyline, creating product tutorials and courses for accounting, trading, CRM, and integration features based on fully prepared source material.
Create a reusable library of modular tutorial assets, with standalone learning pieces that can work on their own or be assembled into larger courses.
Use clear templates, consistent naming, and organized tagging so the asset library can keep expanding in a structured way.
Ramp up quickly on unfamiliar products, build working knowledge fast, and turn complex fintech workflows into practical, task-based instruction.
Work in an iterative way by sharing drafts early, asking questions when needed, prototyping, and treating early misses as part of the process.
Track status carefully, keep progress visibility clear, and flag risks or delays as soon as they appear.

Requirements

Proven background creating software training such as application simulations, system walkthroughs, or platform onboarding content.
Working familiarity with fintech-related tools and topics, including accounting software, trading platforms, CRM systems, and software integrations.
Strong technical curiosity and the ability to learn new systems, tools, and workflows independently.
Fast comprehension and the ability to become fluent in new subject matter without extensive guidance.
Comfort with asking questions, exposing gaps early, and improving work through open iteration.
Hands-on proficiency with Articulate Rise and Storyline.
Experience building scalable microlearning or modular learning content that can stand alone or be combined into broader curricula.
Experience creating content libraries, templates, or design systems for a growing training operation.
Must be based in the United States.
Prior experience in SaaS, B2B software, or financial services is preferred.

Assignment details

This engagement is fully virtual, but consultants must be located in the United States. The schedule is 40 hours per week, and the role is effectively full-time during the engagement window. The planned timeline runs from July 1 through December 31.

Compensation

The target billing rate is $67 per hour on a 1099 basis.
