Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Draftsman position in Singapore. The role involves producing design plans and detailed production or construction drawings using CAD software, carrying out drafting and design calculations, reviewing drawings from contractors and consultants for design and construction accuracy, and taking on other tasks as needed.

Key Duties

• Develop precise design plans and detailed production or construction drawings with computer-aided design tools.
• Carry out drafting work, design development, and related calculations.
• Review and verify design drawings and plans received from contractors or consultants, especially from a design and construction perspective.
• Handle additional ad-hoc assignments when required.

Qualifications

• Skilled in technical drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools for creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings.
• Able to convert design ideas into fabrication-ready drawings with clear dimensions, materials, and construction details.
• Knowledge of signage, display, or interior fit-out construction methods, materials, and basic structural principles.
• Capable of reading architectural drawings, site measurements, and technical specifications.
• Strong eye for detail, accurate documentation habits, and good organization for handling multiple drawing sets and revisions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for working with designers, project managers, production teams, and installers.
• Comfortable working on-site in Singapore, meeting deadlines, and adjusting to shifting priorities in a busy environment.
• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; experience in advertising, signage, or exhibition design is an added advantage.
• Basic awareness of safety and compliance requirements for installation and fabrication is helpful.
