Role overview

Akey Hr Solutions is hiring a Direct Tax Manager for an NBFC group with business interests in construction equipment financing, commercial vehicle loans, and affordable housing through its subsidiary. The role is based in Chennai and focuses on direct tax and TDS-related compliance work.

Key work areas

• Carry out reconciliation of TDS receivables and ensure related records are accurate.
• Draft responses to notices received from tax authorities.
• Prepare tax computations and effective tax rate (ETR) workings.
• Review and reconcile TDS and TCS records.
• Coordinate with internal teams as well as external stakeholders to close tax-related matters.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with 2 to 6 years of post-qualification experience. Experience in consulting, especially with a Big 4 firm or a tax consultancy, will be considered an advantage.

Additional information

Salary offered is INR 8,00,000 to INR 13,00,000 per year.
