Data Insights Analyst (Entry / Junior)

Overview

DICE Éditions is hiring an entry-level Data Insights Analyst to join its team in Australia. This role suits someone who enjoys working with data, spotting meaningful patterns, and turning analysis into practical business recommendations. It is a full-time position based onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from different business systems, then prepare it by cleaning and organizing it for analysis.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual presentations that make insights easy to understand.
• Study data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that can help guide decisions.
• Track KPIs and other performance measures for the business.
• Carry out data checks and validation to maintain reporting accuracy.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand what reporting and analysis they need.
• Share findings and practical recommendations in a clear, actionable format.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts and data-led decision making.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and reporting.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL is preferred.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence tools is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with careful attention to detail.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work accurately and efficiently with large datasets.
• A degree, diploma, or training in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
