This position focuses on managing the ongoing Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) process between Nestlé Purina Petcare and key customer accounts. The goal is to improve forecast accuracy, keep replenishment running smoothly, and help maintain strong retail in-stock and inventory performance.

The role is based in Mississauga, Ontario, at 2500 Royal Windsor Dr, Mississauga, ON L5J 1K8, with a hybrid work arrangement.

What you will do

You will work closely with the customer and internal teams to monitor demand, analyze inventory and forecast data, support promotional planning, and drive improvements in supply chain execution. A major part of the role involves using customer and internal information to identify issues, recommend solutions, and help maintain service levels that meet customer expectations.

  • Develop a strong working relationship with the customer by staying closely connected to their team and understanding how their operation works.

  • Analyze data on an ongoing basis to spot trends, investigate demand changes, and support actions that protect in-stock levels.
  • Suggest and follow through on plans designed to reduce future inventory and availability problems.
  • Contribute to customer meetings by presenting data, challenging assumptions, and supporting recommended actions.
  • Partner with Sales and Trade Marketing to collect inputs and build demand plans for promotional programs.
  • Assess the effect of promotions on demand and adjust CPFR plans accordingly.
  • Support smooth execution of promotional events at store level and act as a key contact for event planning and base forecasting.
  • Look for ways to improve the collaborative forecasting process and work with account teams to align on better approaches.
  • Take part in internal and external process improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Support supply chain activities requested by the customer.
  • Track in-stock and service issues, communicate concerns internally and externally, and help identify root causes related to warehouse and retail inventory performance.
  • Prepare recommendations to resolve inventory and availability challenges and help maintain alignment with customer KPI expectations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics, along with 5 to 8 years of CPG experience in an analytical role. Experience supporting Walmart is preferred, and logistics experience is considered an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with customers and cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and a thorough approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience extracting and analyzing data.
  • Advanced capability in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with customer systems such as Retail Link is preferred.
  • SAP experience is an added advantage.
