Role overview
This is a temporary summer opportunity for a Customer Sales & Support Advisor based in Central London near Finsbury Circus. The position offers a mix of office and home working, with two in-office days each week after initial training at the Central London office. Company equipment will be supplied.
The assignment runs from ASAP in June through mid-to-late September. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. There may be occasional weekend shifts during busy periods, and any time worked then will be returned as time off in lieu.
This role is aimed at students, recent graduates, or anyone with a customer- and sales-oriented mindset who wants practical office experience in a fast-paced, service-led environment within the property sector.
Key duties
You will handle customer communication across phone, email, and live chat, supporting both inbound and outbound enquiries. The role also includes managing booking-related questions, resolving issues promptly, and delivering a polite, professional experience for clients.
In addition, you may be asked to prepare and review straightforward agreements, process customer applications, keep internal records up to date, and ensure information is entered accurately into company systems.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate communicates clearly and confidently, both in speaking and writing, and brings a friendly, polished telephone manner. Strong organisation, the ability to juggle several tasks at once, and comfort using Microsoft Office and online tools are also important.
Previous experience in customer service is helpful but not required. A proactive, motivated attitude is highly valued.
Pay and working pattern
The hourly rate is £14, and holiday pay is included. The schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend cover during peak periods.
