Role overview
This opportunity is for a Content Marketer based in the United States, hired through a partner company that oversees the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The role is part of a fast-growing fintech environment where content, narrative building, and demand generation work closely together.
You will create and distribute content that makes complex payments topics easy to understand while still being engaging and commercially useful. The role requires close partnership with marketing and demand generation teams so that content supports awareness, engagement, and measurable business results.
You will own delivery across a range of content formats, including long-form pieces, campaign content, newsletters, and social assets. The job also calls for using data, testing, and audience insights to improve performance, expand reach, and strengthen content strategy over time.
In addition, you will help shape go-to-market content plans that support launches and broader marketing initiatives. This is a remote-first role that expects a high degree of independence, quick execution, creativity, and accountability.
Key accountabilities
- Share ownership of the content calendar and help ensure content is delivered on time, aligns with marketing priorities, and supports wider business objectives.
- Research, draft, and publish content in multiple formats such as blogs, guides, case studies, newsletters, social posts, and campaign materials.
- Turn technical fintech and payments concepts into clear, compelling stories that resonate with the target audience.
- Work with demand generation teams to build and execute go-to-market content plans for launches and campaigns.
- Repurpose and distribute content across channels including LinkedIn, email, and other digital platforms to increase visibility and impact.
- Review content results using performance data and audience feedback, then refine strategy to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Test new formats, messages, and distribution methods to keep improving content effectiveness.
- Use AI tools and automation to speed up content production, improve quality, and scale output efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of content marketing experience in fast-moving B2B or B2C technology settings.
- Strong editorial ability with a talent for making complex technical or financial subjects simple and human.
- Demonstrated ownership from concept through publication, with little need for close supervision.
- Good understanding of how content supports audience growth, demand generation, and business impact.
- Hands-on experience using performance data, experimentation, and audience insights to improve content strategy.
- Comfort working in agile, high-performing teams where priorities can shift and responsibilities are broad.
- Curiosity and practical experience with AI tools for content creation and marketing automation.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone for different formats and channels.
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or technical B2B industries is preferred.
- Video or audio content editing experience is a plus.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to iterate based on feedback.
