Construction Helper

Overview

This role supports construction crews with hands-on site work at a physical job location in Chestermere, Alberta. The position is full-time and is intended for candidates who can work on-site only.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

No prior experience is required; training will be provided.

Work Location

Work must be completed at the physical site. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, unload, and transport building materials around the site.
• Check and measure materials for rigging and hoisting preparation.
• Set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Prepare, mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and similar materials.
• Support framing work, including wall erection and roof construction.
• Grade and level soil to the required specifications.
• Help with building demolition activities.
• Gather, sort, and stack reusable materials.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Clear debris, rubble, and other waste from construction areas.

Additional Information

This is a labour-support role focused on general construction assistance. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work in an outdoor or site-based setting.
