Role overview
Millennium is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join its Compliance team in Dublin, Ireland. The position focuses on reviewing trading-group email communications and contributing to a range of compliance initiatives. The role plays an important part in keeping the firm’s email surveillance framework effective, scalable, and resilient.
What you’ll do
- Review email communications for trading groups and carry out searches connected to internal investigations.
- Draft weekly and monthly summaries capturing the outcomes of email surveillance reviews.
- Support the creation and refinement of policies and procedures so they stay aligned with business changes, regulatory updates, and new compliance concerns.
- Track relevant regulatory developments and keep current on changes that may affect the business.
- Contribute to additional compliance projects as required.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in Business, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Background in compliance within a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) or Broker-Dealer environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and self-regulatory bodies such as the Central Bank of Ireland, FCA, SEC, CFTC, and MAS.
- Familiarity with major laws and frameworks including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA).
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-moving, and changing environment while managing priorities effectively.
- Self-starter with the confidence to work independently and handle projects from start to finish.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent writing, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfort using a variety of technology tools and applications.
- Knowledge of financial products and the wider financial services sector is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
