About the Company

Role Overview
Zurich is looking for a confident, outgoing, and self-driven customer care professional to join its Claims Call Center team in early August 2026. The position includes a comprehensive six-week training program designed to prepare the new hire for the role.
All applicants must live in the United States. Preferred time zones are CST, PST, and MST.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time remote role with an eight-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, Central Standard Time. Training is also fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
The representative will handle first notice of loss claims submitted through phone and non-phone channels, ensure information is processed accurately and on time, and support customers with claims-related questions and issues. The role also involves knowing when to escalate complex matters, coordinating with internal and external contacts to clarify details and resolve concerns, and offering ideas that improve customer service quality. All work must follow Zurich’s risk and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of customer service experience, and prior data entry experience. A background in call center work is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Strong data entry ability, a typing speed of 32 words per minute or higher, comfort with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office, and the ability to move quickly across multiple screens and browsers are all preferred. The ideal candidate should also have strong reading comprehension, a professional manner, good verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and solid problem-solving ability. Insurance knowledge is an added advantage.
Work From Home Requirements
A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions is required. The home setup must also include a stable high-speed internet connection with at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download speeds.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range for this role is $17.79 to $21.64. The position is also eligible for a 5% short-term incentive bonus.
