Role Overview

This opportunity is a full-time remote position for a Chief Operating Officer (COO). The role is responsible for steering everyday operations and making sure production, logistics, and service delivery consistently meet standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. The COO will shape and execute operating plans, track performance indicators, coordinate work across departments, and improve processes throughout the business. In partnership with senior leadership, this person will contribute to business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation while leading continuous improvement efforts and supporting long-term, sustainable expansion. The position also requires strengthening internal communication, helping develop talent, and keeping operational execution aligned with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the company’s daily operations across production, logistics, and customer service delivery.
Create and put into action operational plans that improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Monitor performance measures and use them to guide operational decisions.
Work with teams across the organization to keep execution aligned and effective.
Identify and implement process improvements that support productivity and growth.
Partner with executive leadership on business planning, budget oversight, and allocation of resources.
Support continuous improvement programs and operational scaling initiatives.
Build clear internal communication and help strengthen coordination between teams.
Contribute to staff development and ensure operations remain aligned with strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

Strong background in business planning and strategic operations leadership.
Ability to analyze data, interpret KPIs, and make decisions based on operational metrics.
Working knowledge of finance and budgeting for cost control and resource optimization.
Substantial experience leading operations, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or technology-led environments.
Demonstrated success managing remote teams and collaborating across functions.
Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline; an MBA or similar advanced degree is considered an advantage.
Experience or exposure to laser cutting, metal fabrication, or industrial production processes is a strong plus.
