Chief Operating Officer

Role Overview

TalkOrTalk is hiring a full-time, remote Chief Operating Officer to lead day-to-day business execution and strengthen overall organizational performance. In this position, you will shape operating plans, connect internal processes to the broader company strategy, and keep teams working effectively across functions.

What You Will Do

You will oversee operational budgets, track performance metrics, and improve workflows that support long-term, scalable growth. The role also calls for close partnership with the executive leadership team on strategic decisions, ownership of major business initiatives, and a strong focus on accountability, inclusion, and ongoing improvement.

In addition, you will coach and develop leaders, manage business risks, and help ensure that operating practices remain aligned with applicable policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong capability in business planning and strategic execution, with the ability to turn long-term direction into practical action plans.
• Deep experience in operations leadership, including process improvement, organizational scaling, and performance tracking.
• Advanced analytical ability for working with data, creating dashboards, and using insights to guide operational decisions.
• Solid finance and budgeting experience, including forecasting, allocation of resources, and cost management in a growth-focused setting.
• Proven senior leadership experience in operations or executive roles, ideally within remote or distributed teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence people across different teams.
• Demonstrated success in building inclusive, high-performing teams and leading organizational change.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
