Amazon is hiring a Business Analyst for Amazon Business in Bengaluru. What you will do
- Build, own, and maintain recurring metrics, reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools that support business decisions.
- Check and validate data to keep both new and existing tools accurate and dependable.
- Learn how to use Amazon’s different data sources effectively and choose the right source for each analysis.
- Partner with category, marketing, and sales teams to understand current workflows and automate where possible.
- Study business trends and share recommendations that help grow Amazon Business.
- Respond quickly to urgent requests from senior business leaders.
- Design and run analyses that identify opportunities, then present clear written recommendations to guide business direction.
- Apply Amazon’s core business principles in day-to-day work.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in data analytics or automation.
- At least 1 year of experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and pipelining.
- Hands-on exposure to data-mining or analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar platforms.
Preferred background
- Prior experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or a related function is preferred.
