Role overview
This position is for a careful and insight-driven Business Analyst who can review current workflows, uncover opportunities to improve performance, and help teams make decisions based on data. The role involves working with stakeholders to understand business needs and turning those needs into practical, actionable requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Study business challenges and convert them into well-defined requirements.
- Carry out research, map processes, and document workflows clearly.
- Spot gaps in systems or procedures and recommend ways to improve them.
- Work with teams across functions to help deliver projects successfully.
- Build reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for leadership.
- Review project results and check that they stay aligned with organizational objectives.
- Use analytical tools to support interpretation of data and informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or a similar position.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are essential.
- Experience in collecting requirements and producing documentation is needed.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau is expected.
- Clear communication and strong stakeholder-handling skills are important.
- The role requires the ability to perform well in a busy environment and manage several priorities at once.
Preferred strengths
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working is an advantage.
- Experience with improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma is preferred.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle will be beneficial.
- Strong ability to create presentations and reports is valued.
