Key duties

• Keep bakery products looking fresh and appealing, including items such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Make sure the bakery section is replenished and prepared for customers throughout the day.
• Check that items are correctly labelled, signed, and priced.
• Follow cold chain rules, temperature checks, thermometer calibration, and food handling requirements, including rotation of stock and monitoring sell-by and expiry dates.
• Use proper sanitation and cleaning practices to maintain food safety.
• Carry out ordering, markdowns, clearance activity, and related pricing and signage steps correctly.
• Prepare bakery items by following thawing and baking instructions so products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure product displays are arranged securely and safely.

Pay information

The minimum hourly pay for this role begins at $18.05.

Minimum qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
