Role overview

Tecno Mobile Kenya is hiring a Business-to-Government Executive to identify public-sector opportunities, help move tenders through the process, and strengthen partnerships with government organizations. The role also supports the sale of smartphones, feature phones, tablets, laptops, and AIoT products within government-focused channels.

What you will do

• Find and develop new government projects and business opportunities.
• Assist with tender discovery, bid drafting, submission, and post-submission follow-up.
• Establish and maintain relationships with public institutions and procurement teams.
• Handle vendor registration/authorization and ensure tender submissions meet compliance rules.
• Support the sale of Tecno Mobile Kenya products, including smartphones, feature phones, tablets, laptops, and AIoT solutions.
• Work closely with internal departments and external partners to deliver projects successfully.

What the company is looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, ICT, Procurement, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 1–2 years of experience working with government tenders, ICT hardware, or digital transformation projects.
• Solid knowledge of public procurement processes and tender documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, plus negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working in both direct sales and partner-led sales environments.
