Associate/Senior Associate, External Audit

About the Role

Deloitte is hiring motivated, energetic professionals to join its audit practice as Associate or Senior Associate in External Audit. This role is designed for people who want to contribute to meaningful client outcomes, grow in a collaborative environment, and build a long-term career in assurance.

You will be part of an audit team serving clients across the General Industry and Financial Services Industry (FSI). The client portfolio includes publicly listed companies, multinational corporations, local conglomerates, and financial institutions such as banks, insurers, and securities firms. The position may also involve assignments related to initial public offerings, due diligence, and special investigations.

What You Will Do

• Deliver audit, accounting, regulatory, attest, and attest-related support to clients.
• Apply established audit tools, methodologies, and resources to produce high-quality work.
• Work directly with clients from different sectors to understand their needs and provide practical solutions.
• Advise clients on matters such as IPOs, internal controls, Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform assurance procedures and testing across a varied client portfolio.
• Partner with managers and engagement teams across multiple assignments.
• Build exposure to different parts of an engagement as your responsibilities broaden.
• Take part in continuous training and be assigned to different engagement areas over time.

Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• For experienced applicants, at least 1 to 2 years of external audit experience is required.
