Role overview
Chubbies is looking for an Associate Digital Merchandiser who is excited about ecommerce, shopper behavior, and digital experience design. This person should be comfortable working with data, paying close attention to details, and using performance insights to improve online results and support sales growth.
The role works across Ecommerce, Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, and Operations to make sure customers can find, browse, and buy products with ease. You will contribute to site optimization, online merchandising, promotional execution, and the overall shopping journey on Chubbies.co m.
What you will do
- Keep product organization, collections, sorting logic, and onsite merchandising up to date across Chubbies.
- Review ecommerce results on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis to uncover ways to improve conversion, revenue, average order value, and product discovery.
- Help shape merchandising for the homepage, category pages, landing pages, and collection pages so the site drives stronger engagement and sales.
- Work with Marketing and Creative teams to roll out promotions, seasonal releases, and other on-site business initiatives.
- Track item performance and suggest improvements to placement, cross-sells, upsells, and how visible each assortment should be.
- Check that product details, images, pricing, offers, and merchandising attributes remain accurate and well optimized across digital channels.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and business summaries to support analysis and decision-making.
- Support A/B testing efforts and use customer behavior insights to improve site performance.
- Coordinate with Merchandising and Inventory teams so onsite product visibility matches stock availability and overall business priorities.
- Assist with readiness for launches of new products, collections, and seasonal campaigns.
- Study customer shopping patterns, search results, and navigation behavior to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with different teams to keep improving the digital customer experience and onsite merchandising process.
- Keep up with ecommerce best practices, market trends, and competitor activity, and bring forward fresh ideas and recommendations.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Digital Merchandising, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Retail Analytics, or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce KPIs such as conversion rate, revenue per session, average order value, click-through rate, and customer engagement.
- Hands-on experience merchandising products and managing digital storefronts in Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with the skill to turn data into practical actions.
- Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with Shopify, Looker, Google Analytics (GA4), or comparable reporting tools is preferred.
- Experience supporting promotional calendars, site launches, and digital merchandising strategies.
- Excellent organizational ability and comfort handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership, and a dependable sense of accountability.
