About The Ned Doha
The Ned Doha is a luxury hospitality destination located in Doha’s historic former Ministry of Interior building. It combines cultural heritage with elegant design and modern refinement to deliver a distinctive guest experience.
The property features seven unique dining venues, 90 thoughtfully designed rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and Ned’s Club, an exclusive members’ club that includes a rooftop terrace, spa, gym, and a 30-metre outdoor pool.
Role Overview
Within Ned’s Club, every touchpoint is important. The members’ club is designed to provide exceptional dining and social experiences through warm service and careful attention to detail.
This opportunity is for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager who can support the day-to-day running of Ned’s Club, guide a strong front-of-house team, and help ensure each member and guest receives a smooth, personalised experience.
The role suits someone who leads naturally, performs well in a busy luxury setting, and enjoys creating memorable hospitality moments.
Key Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the everyday operations of Ned’s Club.
- Support, mentor, and motivate the front-of-house team so consistently high service standards are met.
- Develop genuine connections with members so their visits feel tailored and memorable.
- Keep service quality, appearance, cleanliness, and attention to detail at the highest level.
- Address guest and member concerns professionally and with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service coordinated and efficient.
- Help with staffing, training, rota planning, and performance management to build a positive team environment.
- Support commercial and operational targets through strong leadership and business awareness.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have prior experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a comparable leadership position within a luxury hotel, private members’ club, or upscale restaurant.
You should bring a strong service mindset, a clear passion for hospitality, and the ability to create standout guest experiences.
Leadership, coaching, and team development skills are essential, along with excellent communication and people skills.
A practical, hands-on working style and very strong attention to detail are important for success in this role.
You should also feel confident building long-term relationships with members and guests, and be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
