Architectural Designer

Role overview

SFV Services is looking for a driven Architectural Designer with 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in commercial work, to support the architecture team. The position is based on-site in Southfield, Michigan, and includes a starting annual pay of $50,000 plus bonuses.

What you will do

• Create floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings using CAD and Revit.
• Prepare polished 3D visualizations, presentations, and renderings.
• Maintain project documentation that aligns with accessibility rules and basic building code requirements.
• Help with permit submission and related processes while working under senior architectural guidance.
• Work closely with design-build and architecture teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in an architectural position, ideally with commercial projects.
• At least 2 years of CAD experience.
• Minimum 1 year of practical Revit experience.
• At least 1 year of experience using Enscape for visualization and presentation work.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as ADA and familiarity with basic building codes.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant commercial design work is required.
• Two professional references must be provided.
