About the Role
This position is a commercial sales role based in Singapore, focused on expanding advertising and sponsorship revenue across Singapore and Southeast Asia. The successful hire will work across agencies and direct advertisers to win new business, grow existing accounts, and shape integrated solutions spanning digital, TV, branded content, and events. The role calls for a confident, consultative seller who can operate independently while contributing to wider regional commercial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver revenue goals across digital, TV, branded content, and event sponsorship, with responsibility for driving growth from both current and prospective clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Develop a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, strategic account growth, and accurate forecasting, while consistently identifying and converting fresh revenue opportunities.
- Maintain trusted senior relationships with agencies, trading desks, and direct advertisers by acting as a strategic and consultative partner.
- Negotiate and finalize high-value, multi-market agreements while ensuring alignment with commercial standards and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with creative, editorial, marketing, programmatic, digital, PR, and Audience & Data teams to build and deliver integrated proposals with strong commercial impact.
- Feed market intelligence into the regional commercial strategy, uphold strong sales discipline, and support junior colleagues while helping foster a high-performing, growth-oriented team culture.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should bring 4 to 6+ years of experience in sales, advertising, branded content, sponsorship, events, or digital marketing from an international media owner, broadcaster, premium publisher, media agency, ad tech business, or a leading social media/platform company. The role requires a consistent record of meeting or surpassing revenue targets in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia, along with proven success in selling event sponsorships and integrated multi-platform solutions. Strong relationships with Singapore agencies and regional SEA clients are important, as is hands-on experience with digital and TV solutions and the ability to build revenue through creative, non-standard offerings. The role also calls for solid commercial judgment, the capability to structure and close complex multi-market deals, excellent English presentation and communication skills, strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ability, and a self-driven, entrepreneurial approach that still works well within a collaborative team.
