Role overview
Freshworks is looking for a detail-focused, imaginative Virtual Events & Webinars Specialist to create high-quality digital experiences that move prospects and customers through the buying journey. The right candidate will bring a solid background in event marketing and a strong interest in building scalable virtual programs that contribute to pipeline and revenue goals.
This position works closely with Campaigns, Product Marketing, Sales, and Brand teams to plan, produce, and improve webinars, roundtables, and other virtual events that support the company’s go-to-market strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver webinars and virtual events across global markets, handling scheduling, platform configuration, speaker logistics, and live show production.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop event themes, agendas, and messages that support campaign objectives and sales priorities.
- Coordinate event promotion, registrations, and follow-up processes with Marketing Operations and Campaigns.
- Oversee live sessions to keep execution on track and resolve issues as they arise.
- Measure event results and prepare post-event summaries with observations and action points.
- Test new engagement approaches such as polls, breakout sessions, and interactive Q&A to improve audience participation.
- Keep event calendars, process documentation, and operating guidelines updated to support consistency and scale.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, events, or webinar production, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Hands-on experience with virtual event platforms such as Zoom, ON24, Cvent, or Goldcast.
- Working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems such as Marketo and Salesforce.
- Strong planning and project coordination abilities, with the capacity to manage several events at the same time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Comfort using data to assess event performance and improve outcomes.
- Creative mindset with enthusiasm for building engaging digital event experiences.
Additional information
This is a hybrid position with an on-site requirement of three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday, at the San Mateo, CA headquarters.
The annual base pay for this role ranges from $130,000 to $162,000, and the position is also eligible for a target bonus.
Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, experience, role-specific skills, and level.
