Role Overview

The Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for managing daily operations, strengthening efficiency, and driving ongoing improvement across the organization. This position owns key performance metrics, builds and rolls out operational policies, and partners with senior leaders to align operational execution with broader business goals. The role also oversees P&L performance, improves resource allocation, and contributes to budgeting and forecasting. In addition, it involves leading cross-functional initiatives, streamlining processes and workflows, maintaining strong customer service and stakeholder satisfaction, mentoring operations teams, managing risk, and defining best practices that enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring strong experience in operations leadership, with a history of improving systems, processes, and workflows. Hands-on capability in P&L management is important, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking financial performance. The role requires strategic thinking, the ability to prioritize operational efforts in line with business objectives, and strong project management skills for running complex cross-functional work. A strong focus on service quality and client satisfaction is also needed, along with extensive leadership experience managing distributed teams and building accountability. Applicants should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is required; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred. Experience in a senior operations role in a growth-focused or multi-site organization is considered a plus.
