Key accountabilities
- Input policyholder and insurance-related information into client systems and confirm that records remain accurate and consistent.
- Check underwriting files, gather supporting documents, and make sure policy documentation is complete and correctly formatted.
- Use Excel to sort, filter, and standardize datasets tied to insurance details such as addresses, payroll information, or vehicle records.
- Apply advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to clean, organize, and analyze data that supports underwriting tasks.
- Move and manage information across Word, PDF, and Excel formats while preserving data accuracy.
- Carry out basic online research and use mapping tools to confirm business and location information.
- Assist with multilingual document handling by using translation tools when required.
- Work alongside internal teams and adjust smoothly to several systems and workflows at the same time.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- Previous experience in administration or data entry is helpful, though not mandatory.
- Strong Excel capability, including formulas, pivot tables, and data-cleaning features.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe tools, and online research platforms such as Google Maps.
