UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

CittaAI is hiring a UI/UX Designer for its Hyderabad office. This is a full-time position suited to a creative professional with 1 to 3 years of experience who can own the design process from early discovery through final implementation.

The role involves turning product needs and user expectations into clear, polished, and intuitive experiences for both web and mobile. You’ll partner with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to shape solutions that are visually strong, practical to build, and aligned with the product direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret business objectives, product requirements, and stakeholder input to shape design direction.
• Convert requirements into user goals, flows, and interface concepts.
• Create wireframes at both low and high fidelity for web and mobile products.
• Design clean, modern, and easy-to-use interfaces.
• Review implemented work and assist with quality checks so the final build stays aligned with the approved design.
• Build responsive and mobile-friendly experiences for iOS and Android applications.
• Work within platform conventions such as Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Adapt layouts for phones, tablets, and other screen sizes while maintaining consistency and accessibility.
• Develop interface systems, screens, and reusable components in tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Apply strong design principles around typography, spacing, grid usage, colour, and hierarchy.
• Use Adobe Photoshop for advanced image work, including editing, masking, compositing, and asset refinement.
• Create interactive prototypes that demonstrate user journeys and screen behavior.
• Explore transitions and micro-interactions where they improve the experience.
• Use prototyping tools such as Figma advanced prototyping, Framer, or similar platforms to test ideas.
• Present concepts clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed design handoff files, specifications, and supporting assets for developers.
• Work closely with engineering teams to minimise gaps between design intent and implementation.
• Support developers during build and clarify spacing, responsiveness, and interaction details as needed.
• Ensure the delivered product reflects the intended design vision.

Required Skills And Experience

• Strong hands-on ability with Figma or Adobe XD.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, especially non-destructive editing, masking, compositing, and image enhancement.
• Working familiarity with Adobe Illustrator is beneficial.
• Solid grasp of wireframing, user flows, and information architecture.
• Good understanding of usability and user-centred design principles.
• Strong eye for typography, spacing, colour, layout, and consistency.
• Ability to build clear, structured, and intuitive experiences.
• Experience designing mobile application interfaces.
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design across devices.
• Familiarity with mobile frameworks such as Flutter or React Native is an advantage.
• Ability to create clickable prototypes and basic motion concepts.
• Exposure to motion or animation tools such as Lottie or Adobe After Effects is helpful.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Comfort working with developers and understanding technical constraints.
• Experience with design handoff and cross-functional collaboration.

Desired Profile

The ideal candidate can balance user needs with business goals, take full responsibility for design quality, and deliver polished, modern, and usable interfaces. You should be comfortable in a fast-moving product environment and able to collaborate effectively with developers, product teams, and stakeholders. A strong portfolio showing both UX thinking and visual design ability is important.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Exposure to AI-supported design tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar products.
• Ability to incorporate modern UI design with cultural, traditional, or regional visual influences.
• Familiarity with scalable design systems, component libraries, and UI documentation.
• Interest in new design trends, AI-based workflows, and product experience improvements.
