About the Company
Zambrero is Australia’s biggest Mexican quick-service restaurant brand, known for serving fresh, healthy food while supporting efforts to end world hunger. The menu includes burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos made with house-made guacamole and other fresh ingredients. Because the food is prepared with fresh ingredients, you can enjoy a cleaner work environment without the usual strong food smells. The restaurants operate across day and night trading hours, which can help provide flexibility around study, work, and personal commitments.
Through the Plate 4 Plate program, one meal is donated to a person in need for every bowl or burrito sold.
Role Overview
As a team member, you will help prepare and serve fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food while delivering a positive customer experience. This position plays an important part in maintaining Zambrero’s standards for service, food quality, procedures, and cleanliness.
Key Duties
- Deliver warm, upbeat, and helpful service to every customer.
- Prepare menu items by following recipes carefully and consistently for each meal period.
- Adjust food preparation based on customer demand and volume throughout the day.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitisation practices at all times.
- Support the regular cleaning of food-prep areas, the dining area, and the wider restaurant.
- Assist with any other tasks needed to keep the restaurant operating efficiently and guests satisfied.
