Role Overview

This position focuses on production planning and on keeping demand, capacity, and material supply properly balanced. The role works closely with purchasing, production, warehouse, and customer service teams to protect delivery commitments while maintaining lean inventory. A major part of the job is also to improve planning quality, strengthen process discipline, and keep master data reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, update, and continuously synchronize production schedules while factoring in demand forecasts, available capacity, and material readiness, ensuring all stakeholder teams stay informed.
• Run recurring planning meetings and handle both short-range and long-range capacity planning, with attention to utilization, constraints, and priorities.
• Secure material availability by working closely with purchasing, tracking inventory levels, identifying risks early, and responding quickly to shortages.
• Review supply chain results, inventory trends, and delivery performance, including late deliveries and surplus stock, and put corrective actions in place.
• Improve and standardize planning workflows, including the SIOP process, and document clear rules and procedures.
• Keep ERP master data accurate, support launches of new products and projects, and work cross-functionally to achieve operational goals.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or production planning.
• Professional fluency in English and German; German proficiency at B1/B2 level is required.
• Strong command of Excel and confident experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is considered a plus.
• Analytical, organized, and solution-oriented way of working.
