About the role

This position is based in Paget, Mackay, supporting a specialist crew working with radiators and heat exchangers for major mining clients. The role reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for managing the branch’s warehousing and supply chain activities.

The role follows a 40-hour week, running from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key duties

• Manage requisitions, confirm orders, and process goods received.
• Carry out inventory counts, arrange stock, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Prepare and stage parts for the execution teams.
• Handle stock manually, including lifting heavy items when required.
• Operate a forklift and assist with loading and unloading trucks.

Additional requirements

• Strong focus on workplace health and safety.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Storeperson.
• Tertiary study in warehousing is considered an advantage.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
• Current forklift licence and driver licence.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing time effectively.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.
