Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Store Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a PandaMart store in Singapore. The role is focused on keeping store operations organised, productive, and aligned with internal standards. You will be responsible for putting SOPs into practice, improving how the warehouse team works, and ensuring the store runs efficiently. This position is based in Singapore and reports to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the store business plan to drive revenue and improve profitability.
- Oversee the full inventory flow, including inbound receiving, stock handling, storage, and timely order dispatch.
- Apply and refine company policies, processes, and operating guidelines to lift day-to-day efficiency.
- Monitor staff performance regularly to make sure strategies, instructions, and procedures are carried out effectively.
- Maintain compliance with HR rules and local regulatory obligations at store level to support an organised workplace.
- Own hiring, training, coaching, counselling, and performance appraisal for store staff.
- Plan and assign manpower resources to achieve the best possible scheduling efficiency.
- Drive store operations toward agreed SLA and KPI targets.
- Promote a safe, healthy, and hazard-free environment by managing Workplace Safety & Health procedures and compliance.
- Ensure stock counts are performed periodically and recorded accurately.
- Make sure policies, procedures, and work standards are consistently followed and implemented.
- Arrange regular facility maintenance and escalate any faults or breakdowns to the Realty Facility Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in warehouse management or retail store management.
- Strong understanding of operations and customer experience concepts such as supply chain, customer service, JIT, and Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of relevant local laws and regulations in the industry.
- Practical understanding of performance and operations metrics.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems or Inventory Management Systems.
- Ability to work independently with strong self-drive.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
