Nova Staffing is hiring a Staffing Recruiter for its Brampton, Ontario office. This position suits someone who enjoys working with people, resolving problems, and connecting employers with the right talent. As an early contact for candidates, you will help shape a positive hiring experience while supporting well-known employers in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and evaluate candidates for both temporary and permanent roles.
- Carry out interviews, reference verification, and candidate evaluations.
- Handle onboarding steps and prepare employment paperwork.
- Align candidates with client needs and workplace culture.
- Organize employee schedules and job assignments.
- Keep candidate records and databases up to date and accurate.
- Assist with payroll-related tasks and timesheet collection.
- Track attendance and follow up on performance matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Contribute to business development and account growth efforts.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in recruitment, human resources, customer service, or a similar field. The role calls for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong administrative and organizational ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to work in a busy, fast-moving environment.
