Job Summary
This position supports the Corporate Performance Management function by managing, analyzing, and improving the organization’s performance frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting outputs. The role is focused on ensuring performance is tracked accurately, translated into meaningful insights, and connected clearly to strategy and execution so leadership can make well-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep corporate Balanced Scorecards and KPI structures current and aligned with the approved enterprise strategy.
- Protect the consistency of the relationships between strategic goals, KPIs, targets, and initiatives at corporate, divisional, and department levels.
- Contribute to improvements in performance management frameworks by applying lessons learned and feedback from stakeholders.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and recording KPIs according to corporate standards and governance expectations.
- Maintain KPI dictionaries, registers, targets, and ownership records so they remain clear, consistent, and audit-ready.
- Review KPI data for quality and raise concerns when there are missing inputs, inconsistencies, or poorly designed metrics.
- Carry out variance, trend, and root-cause analysis for corporate and divisional performance results.
- Translate performance data into insights that connect outcomes with strategic objectives, initiatives, and execution factors.
- Prepare board-ready dashboards, performance reports, and analytical summaries using approved tools and formats.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate performance reporting with accurate, timely, and consistent output.
- Provide analytical content for Executive Management, Board, and shareholder performance reports.
- Keep trackers updated for strategic and operational initiatives, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Help monitor benefits realization by comparing planned results with actual outcomes.
- Flag execution risks, delays, and new issues, and support the tracking of corrective actions.
- Ensure performance information remains accurate, consistent, and traceable through proper documentation, version control, and audit trails.
- Develop, update, and improve executive dashboards and scorecards using approved BI tools with clear, accurate, decision-focused visuals.
- Support the adoption and enhancement of performance management systems, dashboards, and BI tools in coordination with IT and digital teams.
- Help connect the Corporate Performance Management system with source systems to keep KPI definitions, timelines, and data consistent.
- Coordinate system changes, enhancement requests, and upgrades with IT and digital teams, including defining requirements, testing, and user acceptance support.
- Work with divisions, departments, and support teams to gather, verify, and analyze performance data.
- Assist in performance review meetings by preparing materials, insights, and action logs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- At least 8 years of direct, relevant experience is expected.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or large manufacturing environments is preferred.
