Special Agent: Accounting/Finance Background

Overview

Salary

Major Duties

• Lead and carry out investigations involving possible breaches of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety matters.

• Build and maintain working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.

Key Requirements

• You must be a U.S. citizen.
• You must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• You must be prepared to travel as needed.
• You must satisfy the FBI’s employment eligibility standards.

Education

A bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Preferred fields include accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting, and the degree must come from a U.S.-accredited college or university. All degrees must be confirmed through official college transcripts.
