Role Overview
This position is a practical, hands-on support role within the Fleet team. The work centers on yard activities, handling equipment and parts, keeping the shop organized, and helping ensure vehicles and equipment are ready for use.
Key Duties
- Wash and clean fleet vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Operate a tele-handler and similar equipment to move parts, materials, and vehicles around the yard in a safe manner.
- Receive, sort, organize, and move parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Carry out general yard upkeep and housekeeping tasks.
- Help keep the shop orderly, including inventory support and material handling.
- Assist mechanics and shop staff with non-technical tasks when required.
- Help maintain a workplace that is clean, safe, and well organized.
What We’re Looking For
Wessuc is seeking a dependable, hardworking team player who is comfortable with physical duties and operating machinery. A basic mechanical background is helpful, though it is not mandatory. A willingness to learn, follow safety practices, and keep the workspace tidy is important. Experience with a tele-handler or comparable equipment is considered an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay starts at $22 to $23 per hour. The role also includes a full benefits package with extended health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus RRSP matching. After one year of service, employees receive a $150 boot allowance. The company also offers a supportive, collaborative work environment.
