Role Summary
We are hiring a Service Plumber in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This position focuses on repairing, maintaining, and replacing plumbing fixtures and plumbing systems.
A sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 is available, depending on experience.
What You'll Do
- Inspect plumbing issues, identify faults, and determine the right repair approach.
- Discuss findings and recommended next steps clearly with clients.
- Fit plumbing fixtures and install water heaters.
- Use sewer equipment effectively as part of service work.
- Work with power tools and related equipment during plumbing installations and repairs.
- Install and replace drainage lines as well as water lines.
- Handle gas-related work when applicable; this is considered an advantage.
- Take on other job-related tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing installation and repair practices.
- Good critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to keep the company truck tidy and fully stocked with inventory.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
Experience and Education
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
- At least 3 years of plumbing experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Physical Demands
- You should be able to climb ladders and perform work from them.
- The role requires physical capability to handle tools and equipment.
- You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
