Senior Information Technology Auditor

Role overview

JAR Accounting and Auditing is seeking a senior-level IT and information systems auditor in Doha, Qatar. The position covers the complete audit lifecycle, from early planning and risk evaluation through testing, documentation review, final reporting, and presentation to leadership.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of IT and IS audit assignments from the planning stage through the issuance of the final report.
• Create the audit scope, detailed audit plan, and work programs.
• Assess IT governance, IT risk management, information security, cybersecurity, and IT operational controls.
• Oversee audit procedures and check the quality of working papers.
• Draft and refine audit observations, reports, and improvement recommendations.
• Assist with knowledge-sharing and transfer activities within the engagement or team.

What we're looking for

• A recognized certification such as CISA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or an equivalent qualification.
• Between 10 and 15 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, IT risk management, and IT governance.
• Practical understanding of NIA/NCSA, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, COBIT, and IIA Standards.
• Excellent report-writing ability and strong presentation skills.
