Position Overview

Encore is seeking a motivated sales professional who can drive revenue through its service offerings. The role involves building strong relationships with venue partners, as well as nurturing both new and current client accounts, identifying client needs, and shaping solutions that create value for the client and the business. This position reports to a Senior Sales Manager or Cluster Sales Manager, depending on the region.

Revenue Generation

  • Manage the full sales cycle from the first conversation through to deal closure while maintaining a high standard of customer care and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals that align with client objectives and Encore’s service portfolio.
  • Participate in site inspections, pre-conference planning sessions, and relevant venue meetings to support the overall event experience.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Sales Manager or Sales Manager to meet sales goals and support team performance.
  • Work with the Senior Sales Manager or Cluster Sales Manager to understand event cost structures and build solutions that follow profitability guidelines.

Relationship Management

  • Build new business through networking, cold outreach, and effective use of existing relationships.
  • Meet with clients, learn about their priorities, and respond to their questions, concerns, and challenges.
  • Keep complete and current records of sales activity, opportunities, and account details in the CRM system.
  • Refer customers across the Encore network and use existing contacts to uncover additional business opportunities.

Sales Accountability

  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline that supports delivery of revenue targets.
  • Ensure every known opportunity is entered in the CRM and kept accurate and current.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for the role and adapt to any new initiatives or programs introduced.
  • Stay informed about new products, services, and technologies related to meetings and events.
  • Monitor industry developments and competitor activity to spot opportunities and potential challenges.
