About IRIS
IRIS develops AI-powered audio enhancement tools designed to improve communication quality across digital environments. Founded in 2018, the company has built patented products informed by long-running research into how sound affects the brain, with a focus on concentration, productivity and wellbeing.
The main products are IRIS Clarity and IRIS SDK. Both use advanced AI voice isolation to reduce noise from both ends of customer conversations, helping improve agent focus, productivity and customer experience. What began as a solution created from work in Formula One has expanded into a wider opportunity across the CCaaS market and into enterprise sectors such as retail, BPO, digital healthcare, utilities and financial services. The SDK is also positioned for third-party CCaaS, UCaaS and other communications platforms that need a high-value noise cancellation capability.
Role overview
IRIS is growing quickly and is seeing strong inbound interest in its products, alongside proactive outreach campaigns. The Sales Development Representative will be part of the London Oxford Street headquarters team and will support an outbound account-based marketing approach while also qualifying incoming sales enquiries for IRIS Clarity and IRIS SDK.
This opportunity is aimed at someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales. The company is open to candidates with around 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a graduate with roughly 6 months of experience that clearly shows sales ability and a strong drive to progress. A genuine ambition to succeed and the ability to learn fast are important for success in this role.
The successful candidate will receive coaching from experienced enterprise SaaS sales professionals, along with strong sales tools and marketing support. High-performing candidates may also be developed toward Account Executive responsibilities and more senior progression over time.
Responsibilities
- Generate top-of-funnel opportunities for account executives and sales managers.
- Keep CRM records accurate and current across activities, opportunities and account details.
- Meet the monthly target for qualified opportunities.
- Identify new prospects that fit the company’s go-to-market approach and run coordinated outreach activity with marketing support.
- Partner with the VP Sales and other leaders to spot strategic targets and opportunities, using their expertise and networks where useful.
- Work with marketing to create joined-up campaigns, including landing pages, persuasive sales materials, email outreach and other supporting assets.
- Create and maintain a database of potential customers and the key decision-makers or influencers within those accounts.
- Surface overlooked opportunities within the existing database.
- Deliver well-qualified sales leads into the wider sales team.
- Support self-serve users where needed and guide them through the process.
Requirements
- About 1-2 years of experience in a comparable sales development or lead generation role, or a graduate with around 6 months of experience that demonstrates strong sales potential.
- Experience in a SaaS business, with an understanding of audio AI seen as a clear advantage.
- Ability to carry out research-led outbound prospecting as part of a coordinated ABM campaign.
- Hands-on experience working inbound leads and converting them through an outbound sales motion.
- Comfort working with marketing teams to improve campaign reach and impact.
- Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, especially Sales Navigator.
- Experience with ZoomInfo or comparable contact and account databases.
- Ability to build targeted account lists and filter out low-quality opportunities.
- Experience designing and sending multi-touch email sequences.
- Additional language ability in German, Spanish or French is desirable.
