Retail Store Manager - Taigum

About the Role

The Reject Shop, now operating as Dollarama Australia, is continuing to evolve its retail network with a focus on practical store execution and strong operational standards. The Taigum store is part of this transition, and the business is seeking a Retail Store Manager who leads by example on the shop floor.

This position is suited to a manager who prefers active leadership over office-based oversight. The role calls for someone who is present in the store, works alongside the team on stock and routines, and ensures standards are delivered through action, consistency, and accountability.

Key Duties

• Take ownership of overall store performance and be accountable for day-to-day results
• Lead directly from the floor rather than managing from behind a desk
• Work alongside the team on stock handling and essential store processes
• Maintain strong standards across store presentation, inventory movement, and customer service
• Manage sales performance, wage control, and operating costs with commercial discipline
• Develop a capable team by setting expectations clearly
• Address performance issues promptly and maintain consistent standards
• Support the team through operational changes as the business builds capability
