Role overview
Ayers Rock Resort is hiring a Public Area Cleaner for the Outback Hotel and Lodge and/or the campground at Yulara, Northern Territory. This is an on-site position in the resort community, about a 20-minute drive from Uluru. The role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, works well at pace, and keeps a positive, guest-focused attitude while supporting colleagues.
What you will do
You will handle public-area cleaning and housekeeping tasks to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction across the property.
- Work through a recurring daily checklist to clean assigned public areas.
- Carry out scheduled deep-cleaning tasks in allocated zones.
- Use your own judgement and observation to spot and clean items or spaces not specifically listed on the checklist.
Additional requirements
This position requires a full Australian driver’s licence, with a manual licence preferred.
A National Criminal History Check is a compulsory part of the hiring process.
