Professional Caregiver

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a compassionate Professional Caregiver to support clients in Leamington, Kingsville, and nearby communities across Essex County, Ontario. The role is designed as a flexible placement and can suit candidates looking for part-time or full-time hours.

Key Duties

• Deliver hands-on personal care and day-to-day support to clients in their homes.
• Help with light cleaning and general household tasks.
• Plan, prepare, and cook simple meals according to each client’s preferences and needs.
• Provide friendly companionship and engage in meaningful conversation.
• Assist with routine activities of daily living while prioritizing safety, dignity, and comfort.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, whether personal or professional, will be considered an advantage.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable access to a vehicle are required.
• The candidate must be able to clear a criminal background check.
• Two professional references should be available.
• Availability on alternating weekends is expected.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English is needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay is set at $19 to $20 per hour.
