About the role
WSP is seeking a Planner in Wellington to join its planning team. The role sits within a global professional services business that works across environmental planning, engineering, advisory, and scientific disciplines. The team supports a broad range of clients with technical planning expertise across all phases of development work.
You will help shape complex development proposals from early-stage strategy and policy work through to consenting and post-consent monitoring. The projects often connect to critical infrastructure and are intended to support stronger outcomes for communities now and in the future.

What you will be doing
- Support planning assignments for a range of development and infrastructure projects.
- Contribute technical input across strategy, policy, consenting, and post-consent stages.
- Work closely with a team of technical specialists, advisors, and communicators.
- Help deliver practical planning solutions for clients and communities.
- Apply a commercial mindset to planning and development challenges.
