Role Overview

The organization is looking for a Placement Officer to manage student placement activities, coordinate with employers, and support career development initiatives. This role focuses on building industry relationships, preparing students for interviews, and improving placement outcomes across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary connection between the institution and industry partners.
• Identify training needs among students and help design suitable support activities.
• Coordinate campus recruitment drives and interview schedules.
• Provide one-on-one and group guidance to help students define academic, career, and placement goals.
• Support students in building effective job-search approaches.
• Create promotional presentations or brochures showcasing the college to potential recruiters.
• Maintain an updated student profile database for all departments.
• Run active placement outreach and campaign efforts.
• Support employers in meeting their hiring requirements.
• Help students build long-term career decision-making abilities.
• Organize resources and activities that improve career planning.
• Act as a bridge among students, alumni, and the wider employment network.
• Work on improving student skill sets to align with industry expectations.
• Create awareness among students about future career pathways.
• Assist companies in hiring candidates that match their requirements.
• Help students secure final placements with reputed organizations.
• Track placement-related advertisements and opportunities relevant to student profiles.
• Forward suitable student resumes to prospective employers.
• Match the right candidate with the right opportunity to support long-term success.
• Arrange placement training sessions to prepare students for interviews and group discussions.
• Obtain management approval for campus drives and share updates through department placement coordinators.
• Coordinate with industry partners that have existing memorandums with the training and placement cell.
• Guide students toward permanent employment opportunities by connecting them with potential employers.

Additional Information

This is a work-from-home role. The employer has indicated that salary is not restricted for a strong candidate. Preference is given to applicants from a Healthcare or Clinical Research background.
