Role overview
As an HR Operations Senior Coordinator, you will support employee services transactions across global processes, ensuring work is completed in line with the agreed service catalog and service-level targets. This position is based at the India GBS site and involves carrying out standardized hire-to-retire activities using the required HR systems and tools, all under manager supervision.
The role calls for a strong process mindset, careful attention to SLA commitments, and the ability to collaborate with global teams and markets to complete offshore transactions while maintaining customer service standards and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a solid understanding of the HR processes managed by the HR Operations team.
- Handle employee data administration with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Manage employee database activities, including processes from hire through rehire in Employee Central.
- Use SAP knowledge where applicable to support the work assigned.
- Deliver transactions on time in accordance with defined SLAs and KPIs, while contributing to operational efficiency and ongoing improvement.
- Maintain accountability for accurate data handling and records management.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and operational excellence.
- Be willing to work rotational shifts if business needs require it.
Qualifications and experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in HR shared services, process handling, and SLA management.
- Hands-on exposure to HR processes such as new hire, rehire, termination, and org management.
- Experience using service management or ticket management systems.
- Ability to work effectively across different geographies with cultural sensitivity.
- Flexibility to support rotational shifts.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a large global HR operations or shared services setup.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven record of delivering reliable service.
- Experience working with Employee Central and/or SAP-based HR processes.
- Employee Central and SAP knowledge are mandatory, while ServiceNow experience is a plus.
