Role overview
The Merrion, a luxury Dublin hotel and proud member of Leading Hotels of the World, is looking for a Painter to join its Facilities Team on a six-month fixed-term arrangement. The position is part-time, with work scheduled for three days each week.
Based in central Dublin and well connected by public transport, this opportunity is set in a five-star environment where high standards are the norm. You will receive the tools, support, and training needed to perform well, while working with an experienced and approachable team in a friendly setting.
About the hotel
The Merrion is situated opposite Government Buildings in the centre of Dublin city. The property was formed from four Georgian townhouses and includes 142 bedrooms and suites built around two 18th-century-style gardens.
Responsibilities
- Carry out painting work and minor touch-ups in guest-facing and back-of-house spaces.
- Help with the hotel’s daily upkeep, especially tasks related to decorating and finishing.
- Support the team on occasional maintenance assignments as needed.
- Assist colleagues with larger jobs when required.

Additional information
